Abstract

Starting with the Great Depression, this volume looks at the societal, political, and economic dynamics in Latin American countries and provides an outlook for the twenty-first century. It presents socioeconomic and political processes of change, but also specific features of individual countries and developments in cultural history, as well as historiographical and sociopolitical debates.
